Hello to all!  This is a list of my current schedule. I hope to see you and catch up with all that is new with you. 

2018 WINTER/SPRING SCHEDULE UPDATE

MONDAY - Morning 9:00 - noon at SURF HUT on scenic 98 Destin FL

TUESDAY - Morning Class 9:00 am - 12:00 noon Wyndham by Resort Quest in the Seascape Resort in Miramar Beach

TUESDAY Afternoon Class 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Mainsail Resort (near Winn Dixie and Silver Sands Outlet Mall)

WEDNESDAY - Mornings 9:00 am - 12:00 noon Surf Hut Restaurant.(Across from Embassy Suites on Scenic Gulf Drive) Space limited so be sure to call to reserve a spot. Stay and join us for lunch afterwards. (ends in March will announce alternate location...Spring Breakers!)

THURSDAY - 9:00 am - 12 noon Camping at the Gulf  on Hwy 98 East end of Silver Sands Outlet Mall

FRIDAY - Private Lessons at my home (subject to availability and requires extra class fee.)

Sharon Long was recently featured in the May Issue of VIP Destin Magazine for her work with the local Destin Women's Club and their fundraiser "Hats for Hope." Sharon's art was chosen for their advertising and overall theme. Her original watercolor "Straw Market" appeared in all their ads and posters advertising the event. Sharon Long and fellow artist Gretchen Pulley had their photo taken by the VIP Magazine while in attendance. Sharon was a guest of honor for her contribution to the local fundraiser held at the Sandestin Resort Linkside ballroom in Destin, FL. Participants wore hats in keeping with the theme of the event that raised money for a local shelter house. Sharon was thrilled to have her work chosen and was proud to be a part of the event.

Hey! I have been so impressed with the exposure we are getting from our newest art gallery location in Destin, FL. Retail Therapy is our new home for our art work. Leslie Hathorn and I have sold several works and lots of prints and cards! What a fun adventure for us! I am excited to announce we have added a new card rack and some of my prints from my collection....including originals not previously available. Come by and see what we have to offer!

My watercolor paintings and gallery wraps are being displayed and sold at a new shop in the Destin, Santa Rosa Beach area on Hwy 98 called Retail Therapy. It is located in a quaint shopping mall next the restaurant Louis Louis on the left when coming from Destin.

It is a wonderful shop filled with local art from all mediums. I have originals, my latest prints for sale as well as cards, books and new canvas gallery wraps! It is a work in progress....so stop by and see my latest watercolors.

Leslie Hathorn, an associate has her work on display as well and her works feature beach themed pieces on wood, acrylics, tin punch art, vintage works, and creations on wood....and of course watercolors! Leslie is constantly adding new pieces..each week! She has sold every piece she began the booth with in the last 6 months so stop by often! You never know what she will be creating next.

Sharon's Painting Chosen for Destin, FL Fundraiser

I was honored this week to have have my watercolor painting "Straw Market" to be selected as the logo for the Destin Women's Club Fundraiser called "Hats for Hope". It is appearing in their newspaper ads for the fundraiser and on their flyers announcing the event. "Hats for Hope" is a fashion show and luncheon that will raise money for the local shelter house. I am proud to be a part of such a great event and thrilled to see my painting in the ads! Prints of "Straw Market" are availbale for purchase. Contact me about getting your copy today!
